MOVIE REVIEW : KNIVES OUT

This week I'll be reviewing a movie titled Knives Out. This movie was about a mystery murder crime film that was released on 27 November 2019. It was written and directed by Rian Johnson who also produced the film with his other partner, Ram Bergman, Jonathan Golfman, and Brye Adler. This story begins when the famous crime writer, Harlan Thrombey has died with 2 possibilities which are being murdered or committing suicide. His family members are thrown together in Thrombey's home and questioned one by one by Elliot who is the feds under the leadership of Detective Benoit Blanc. Just like any other family, they told about someone they don't like, and they entangle themselves in a deeper web of secrets and lies by lying to detectives to hide each other secrets. At first, I thought Marta is the one who killed Mr. Thrombey as she accidentally gave false medication to him which will cause him to die in 10 minutes. Marta is working for Mr. Thrombey as his nurse. She takes care of his medication and also his best friend as she always accompanies him. She has a condition that causes her to vomit when she lies. But actually, the person who tried to kill him was his grandson, Ramson. He switches his medication which is Morphine and Ketorlac so that Marta will be accused of murder. Ramson hoped that Marta would be implicated for manslaughter and causing his grandfather's death by accident, and regardless of circumstances, the money would be transferred to his

account. Marta is innocent because she gave Mr. Thrombey the right medication and his death was due to suicide meanwhile Ramson is found guilty as he killed Fran. My favorite part of this movie is when Blanc revealed the truth of the case where the plot is explained as well. Blanc uncovers all of Ramson's evil acts with evidence in a very detailed way. I felt impressed by how he hooked up the clue together until the end. I would recommend this movie, especially to someone interested in criminal cases and detectives job. It was a fantastic murder mystery that will leave you guessing until the very end. It is worth watching with your family and also kids although some bad words are used and two scenes can be shocking for younger children, such as when the body is revealed. It was bloody but they are short and not emphasized. Overall, I gave 10/10 for this movie. Shout out to all the directors for making this such a great movie and also the cast for giving out excellent performances.
